Starting some plants indoors

A couple days ago i planted grape tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, chives, bell peppers and basil. They all need to be started indoors because they seem to need warmth, and the slightest cold could kill them. (Or so the packets say...) I saw some tomatoes planted in egg shells in a magazine, and wanted to try it too! Apparently when i will replant them, i can just work the egg shells into the garden because they will decompose on their own. So now i am anxiously anticipating some tiny little sprouts...
Also we did lots of yard work today, and are trying to make our front yard look nice by digging up weeds, planting flowers and grass, and just making it look pretty. Fun day!
